Character design has been a key part of how I’m developing my illustrative style. I enjoy the challenge of studying proper anatomy, while also pushing boundaries by experimenting with imaginative shapes that stray from realism. At this stage in my illustration journey, I tend to lean heavily into line art, but I’ve also been exploring lineless techniques that emphasize volume, form, and tonal contrast.
